Howard is a trusted advisor to CEOs, Boards, and Investors
Howard has always been fascinated by the psychology that drives behavior, and how that can be harnessed to achieve success. He co-founded PeopleCap Advisors in 2012 to help organizations do just that. He is a trusted advisor to CEOs, boards and investors, and a recognized expert in organizational culture and People Strategy who enjoys helping his clients connect the dots for successful growth.
Howard worked for 15 years as a labor and employment attorney and was a partner in one of the nation’s premiere labor and employment law firms. There he learned that most of his clients issues could generally be traced back to a breakdown in the culture at their companies. He began to identify and analyze the factors that were most significantly impacting performance and behavior of both managers and employees. With this experience, Howard helps leaders understand their culture and how it impacts their ability to achieve their business objectives.
Howard regularly presents on creating a culture of compliance, and has served as an expert on culture on panels with the General Counsel of ATT, Delta, AutoZone, 7-11, Cox Automotive, Rheem Mfg, Eastman Chemical, Toyota One, and International Paper. He holds a Psychology degree from Rhodes College and a Law degree from University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is a competitive triathlete, and coaches his children’s baseball and softball teams.
